Caregiving is a universal experience–whether providing care for children or aging relatives or receiving care when ailing, everyone at some point will be touched by caregiving. And yet, caregiving is stigmatized and under-supported in the US and academic STEMM. Join us on April 11th at 11 am ET for the release of a new National Academies report on supporting family caregivers working in science, engineering, and medicine. The report authors will present the findings and recommendations of this important study and answer audience questions. This study was made possible with the support of the National Institutes for Health, the National Science Foundation, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the Henry Luce Foundation, and the Doris Duke Foundation.
