International Conference on “Achieving One Health: Perceptions, Scope, Opportunities and Challenges in the Developing World”, 28-29, November 2024 at Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT), Zimbabwe
The National Science and Technology Commission (NASTEC) is the focal point of the Center for Science and Technology of Non-Aligned and Other Developing Countries (NAM S&T Center), India. NASTEC provides training opportunities for scientists and technologists in Sri Lanka with the respective announcement released by the NAM S&T Centre to its member countries.
The NAM S&T Center has forwarded an announcement on the International Conference on “Achieving One Health: Perceptions, Scope, Opportunities and Challenges in the Developing World”, and invites applications for the same. The event will be conducted in partnership with the Chinhoyi University of Technology (CUT), Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe, and will be held during 28-29 November 2024 at Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe in Hybrid-Mode.
NASTEC is pleased to circulate this announcement by inviting interested individuals to apply. The deadline for submission of applications to attend the program is 21st October 2024. Applying for participation in the program should be done by sending the filled application form attached below to be endorsed by NASTEC. To receive the endorsement from NASTEC which is the focal point of the NAM center, please send us your filled application and other relevant documents indicated below also with NASTEC Annexure 01 (attached) to nastecnam@gmail.com on or before 16th October 2024. Please note that the application should be certified by your Head of Institute (Please refer to NASTEC Annexure 01). NASTEC will be forwarding the applications to the NAM S&T Centre with the endorsement.
The following documents must be submitted as e-mail attachments:
- a) Filled in Application Form (enclosed along with the announcement brochure).
- b) A Write-up (a short paragraph; MS Word only) on how the applicant qualifies to participate in the Conference.
- c) A Short Biography (to be written in third person in about 200-250 words; MS Word only) highlighting the current engagement, area of expertise, major achievements, academic qualification and professional experience, etc. as succinctly as possible.
- d) An Extended Abstract (about 250-300 words; MS Word only) of the Paper that would be presented at the Conference.
- e) A Scan Copy of the relevant pages of a valid Passport.
Free local hospitality, including accommodation and meals will be provided to all the NAM S&T Centre sponsored foreign participants from November 27, 2024 (noon) to November 30, 2024 (noon) [i.e. from one day before to one day after the completion of the Conference]. The participants will have to make their own arrangements of stay beyond these days.
Kindly note that the selected applicants will have to arrange for their international airfare and will also be required to pay in advance a Processing Fee of US $400 to the NAM S&T Centre.
Selection of applicants will be made purely on the basis of their academic and professional background and relevance of their current engagements in the relevant field, and also the quality of the abstract of the paper submitted.
